The third book sees a lot more of Hunter as he pushes through with his plans. It's a little uncomfortable to write him at times. He's so unfeeling and focused on his end goal that he really couldn't care less about anyone else.

I haven't done one of these in a while, but then again I haven't really used instagram that much in a while. For some reason I'm nervous to post something that isn't book related...

The coffee picture is from a brunch date I had with my sister today. It's the first time in a while that I got dressed and put make up on and it didn't feel like the biggest chore in the world. For most of the year I have been struggling with my mental health. I've never hid it from this platform that I'm not always in the best headspace. I've been attending therapy solidly for the last year and a bit but healing is hard. Trying to stop certain habits and thought patterns is really f-ing hard. Trying to think that exisiting is the best choice is so f-ing hard - and even that's difficult to admit because I've had people in my life openly criticise me for even feeling that way. Photos or insta stories show you the quickest snapshot of someone's life. It doesn't show you the whole picture. But I am getting there. I may not always be present to reply but that has a lot to do with me trying my best to keep myself in the best mental space. Because right now, it feels like there's a lot of hope. I'm enjoying things again and I don't want to overwhelm myself and lose it all. That's what terrifies me. So, I'm just being gentle with myself in all aspects of life right now.

Whatever your hard is, you will get through it. Sometimes it just takes more time than we think.
